Fashion Show June 2007

Last night I went to a fashion exposition in the Design District which featured 3 floors of local independent designers offering their wares.

(Shameless plug: I went to support, if only in spirit, a friend's business - Deluz Dezign).

I had read that there would be a modeling show as well, and was particularly intrigued at taking some photos of live catwalk action. Unfortunately I have no stories of after-hours parties with the models, but overall it was a very cool event.

p.s. while I was walking around checking out the various displays, I kept thinking (in an amusing sense) of the Billy Joel lyric: "Don't you know about the new fashion honey? All you need are looks and a whole lot a money".
