Movie that Defines this Decade

D
espite having seen it in the theater, since I picked up a used DVD of "Syriana" I have watched it several times and must say that it has quickly become one of my favorite movies. Indeed, to the extent it represents the cultural and political milieu of our times, it is the movie of this decade. ***

By way of analogy, I would go so far as to say that just as Michael Douglas' "greed is good" speech in "Wall Street" defined the 1980s,
Tim Blake Nelson's "corruption keeps us safe and warm" speech defines the first decade of the 2000s.

D-Man,

I must agree about Syriana. I have only seen it once and bought it so I may view it again. I thought it was of the best movies, aside from 300 and that is because I love all that barbaric bloody fighting from those times when men were men. (No insult intended to anyone :)!)
